Don’t miss otherworldly Patagonia in South America next fall in collaboration with world class photographer Max Rive during our 10 day adventure tour.

You are going to see this area in a way never seen or shot before. Patagonia nature parks are truly a paradise for nature lovers, climbers, hikers and photographers and offers an incredible variety of breathtaking landscapes.

From hidden forests on a mountain slope - an amazing waterfall unknown among everyone else - towards secret lakes and mountain viewpoints - this tour is the ultimate and best Patagonia Photography Tour available.,

We will stay both in hotels and - when the location both allows and require it - in tents. Personal Processing Lessons will be given and the beautiful weather will be enjoyed.

This autumn fall photo-workshop is perfect for those who loves fall forests and incredible mountain peaks.

As you will read in the Itinerary below, this tour will fully concentrate on getting everything out of each day. Almost half of the nights will be spent in hotels and more than the other half will be spent in tents.

This allows us to be around the best locations during the best light. Although you will be more active during this tour than during others, it certainly won’t be a boot camp. When the (photography) circumstances allow it, there will also be luxury and time to relax.

Each single day we will be focus on twilight (sunrise / sunset) and also approach shooting day favoring the use of neutral density filters in order to properly expose our scenes or create long exposures. During night sessions the moonlight will reveal subtle details of nightscapes looks like from another world

Duration : 10 days - Group size: 5 to 10 - Price: 4550€

★ Itinerary ★

Day 1 : meeting el calafate / el chaten / hike to the first campsite

The tour will start at the airport in El Calafate . After saying hi to each other we will start the amazing drive to El Chalten. Along the way there is time to stop and take in the amazing views on

Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre. After arriving in the village we will leave our non-hiking and camera gear in our apartment (such as a laptop, spare clothes etc). We will meet up with out porters and park

guide (by rule of the NP). After the mountain hike we will put up our tents on the official campground - from here we will shoot the nearb lake, distant views on Fitz Roy and much more!

Hiking with Full Gear: 3,8 km with 360 meter ascending.

Hiking with only Camera: 1,5km

Days 2 + 3 : Fitz roy area / fall forests / dead trees / waterfalls / Lakes & ponds

For the morning we will first shot the nearby lake and the waterfall. The food is included on this tour and everyone can grab a snack whenever they want. Breakfast will be made after the shoot to ensure maximum sleep and shooting possibilites. Breakfast will consist out of everything you can expect from a breakfast: coffe, thee, bread, muesli, cornflakes, milk, fruit and cake :)

After breakfast we will continue to our next campspot, From here we will shoot around the area. Fitz Roy is the most impressive mountain in the world and there are many foreground and compositional options to choose from. Our guides know the earea better than anyone and will of course suggest multiple shooting options.

These 2 days will concentrate on the views directly below Fitz Roy - shooting lakes, trees, forests, small pounds and more. For the the morning shoot we will hike up the mountain which will lead us towards a mountain lake with Monte Fitz Roy towering above it. This has to be one of the most impressive mountain lakes you will find anywhere.

We will stay here for a good time that will allow us to explore and shoot everything we want. Our guides will make sure that there is plenty of food like muesli bars and other snacks to give everyone the energy they need. Breakfast will be served after the shooting

Days 4 + 5 : Hike to laguna torre / cerro torre / glacier lake & icebergs

After shooting Fitz Roy - it is time to move to the next basecamp - which wil be next to Lago Torre. From here we can shoot the river, the lake, the forests and much more. First we have to hike along a fairly easy trail. This will be the longest hike but the views are amazing.

There are great shooting possibilites nearby our camp so we can wake-up a little bit later this time. This area is also great for scouting - everyone who desires teaching from the guides is welcome to see their composition suggestions, but in case you want to explore on your own you will get all the freedom you want.

On day 5 we will hike back to El Chalten where we will stay in a hotel. Here it is time for good food, a warm bed, processing instructional demonstrations and of course a sunset and sunrise shoot without any hiking.

Day 6 : Departure for torres del paine / checking hotel / sunset

We will leave El Chalten and Argentina behind us and will drive towards Torres del Paine, Chile. The drive will last for around 6 hours - this is including the border crossing and some breaks.

The drive is fairly long but the views are amazing with only a few other cars. On the end of the day we will reach our luxurious hotel in Torres del Paine and will of course go for a sunset shoot.

Days 7 + 8 : Torres del paine national park

In Torres del Paine we are based in one of the best hotels the park has to offer. More importantly however, we are in probably the best location for landscape photography from any place in the world.

Not only because of the landscapes, but also because of the weather conditions. You will see red sunrises like in no otherplace thanks to the situation of the park - the high mountains are cathcing the clouds while on the east there is room for the sunrise.

We will do small hikes from the car with only our camera gear. In the hotel more procesing instructions will be given.

Days 9 + 10 : Perito moreno glacier /

During the morning of day 9 we will do another sunrise shoot in TDP. During the day we will leave to El Calafate - for a good reason! We are going to shoot the incredible Perito Moreno glacier!

During the night we will stay in a hotel - and more processing instructions will be given.

On day 10 we might also go to the glacier, depending on the weather on that and the previous day.

This is also the day the tour will end. Our hotel is nearby the airport and we can arrange multiple drop off’s from the hotel to the airport.
